Paterson Expands SDL Enterprise Agreement

SOMERSET, NJ – November 23, 2020 – Spatial Data Logic is excited to expand our work with the City of Paterson. Paterson, located in Passaic County, deployed SDL for their Health Department in 2019. The city will now implement the software in their Construction, Code Enforcement and Land Use offices as well.

These new departments will benefit from access to SDL's six platforms, including SDL Desktop, SDL Mobile, SDL Portal, SDL Citizen and SDL Online. In addition, SDL has recently released a number of new tools to assist towns with the unique challenges coming out of 2020. Some of the features to benefit these new departments specifically include our Remote Inspection feature, two electronic plan review tools and enhanced online permitting capabilities.

We are excited to continue our relationship with Paterson and look forward to better serving their communities.

SDL Welcomes Charles Pierson

Spatial Data Logic is pleased to announce that Charles Pierson has joined our team as a Tier 2 Support lead.

Charlie brings an extensive government technology and customer service background. Prior to joining SDL, he worked as an IT Specialist at the New Jersey DCA for over 18 years where he was well known within the building community for transitioning, training, supporting and developing resources for the 150+ municipalities that relied on PermitsNJ.

In addition to assisting with new client deployments, Charlie will play an instrumental role in introducing our online plan review application and ensuring our clients have the necessary training, support and resources for all of our building solutions.

We are excited to have Charlie on board and hope you will join us in welcoming him!

Rutgers University Selects SDL Enterprise License

SOMERSET, NJ – October 2, 2020 – Spatial Data Logic is thrilled to announce our newest client, Rutgers University!

Rutgers University is the oldest public university in the state of New Jersey, serving over 71,000 students across multiple campuses. Unlike traditional building processes that require municipal involvement and oversight, Rutgers was granted a Memorandum of Understanding by the NJDCA allowing the university to manage all construction reviews and permitting in-house.

By opting to use Spatial Data Logic’s Construction software, the Office of Codes and Standards will be able to streamline the building permits, plan reviews, inspections and state reporting across their campuses. SDL Mobile will also make it easy for their inspectors to access information in the field and document worksites with photos and notes.

This relationship marks the first non-municipal partnership for Spatial Data Logic and demonstrates our ability to adapt our software to meet the growing needs within the state of New Jersey.

We look forward to working with Rutgers University!
