Our History


Spatial Data Logic (SDL) was originally founded as a GIS company in 1997. After noticing that collaboration between municipal departments was cumbersome and ineffective, SDL’s Municipal Management Software was developed in response to the growing need for an interconnected solution. 


Today, SDL helps bridge the gap between municipalities and their constituents by providing visibility across departments, streamlining workflow for staff and enabling self-service access for residents. Our software includes functionality for many departments and business processes. All modules work together so your staff can easily access information and collaborate across departments.


GIS continues to play an integral role in our municipal management solution. Information, documents and reports can be tied to a parcel to create a robust visual of property history. 


As a company, we continue to evolve and expand our product offerings with residents and municipal departments in mind.
