The Borough of National Park Selects Spatial Data Logic

SOMERSET, NJ - February 23, 2022 - Spatial Data Logic welcomes the Borough of National Park to our growing list of clients! Located in Gloucester County, the borough has selected SDL’s municipal management software to help its Construction and Clerk departments work more efficiently and move processes online. 

Eager to eliminate paper processes and excel spreadsheets, National Park will benefit from an interconnected solution that will make it easier for the Clerk to search for information and respond to resident requests. The software will also make it easier for the Clerk to track and manage ORPA requests, complaints, licenses, permits and other applications. 

The borough is also looking forward to modernizing construction processes for its staff and community members. From online permitting to mobile inspections, SDL’s building module includes proven solutions that will streamline permit applications, plan reviews, inspections and make it easier to access information and complete tasks from the field.

National Park intends to activate SDL's citizen platforms to provide online access to department information and services to the public. While the Construction and Clerk offices have yet to decide which features will be available, some options may include online property searches, permit applications, plan submissions, OPRA requests, inspection requests and complaints.

The Borough of Monmouth Beach Selects Spatial Data Logic

SOMERSET, NJ - January 28, 2022 - Spatial Data Logic is excited to announce our newest client, the Borough of Monmouth Beach! The borough selected SDL’s software at the end of last year and will be utilizing SDL’s Construction, Code Enforcement, Land Use and Fire Prevention modules to modernize its department processes and enhance citizen services.

From increased transparency to better field capabilities, Monmouth Beach is getting an interconnected solution that will help each department work efficiently both in and out of the office. SDL’s solution includes tools that will streamline processes like inspections, zoning/planning applications, violations, 200 ft. offsets, and certificates of occupancy. It also offers an end-to-end electronic permitting and plan review solution that meets the requirements of New Jersey’s UCC permitting legislation.  

When working in the field, SDL Mobile will give Monmouth Beach’s inspectors access to owner information, inspection results, complaints and other property history from their smartphone or tablet. Additionally, inspectors can manage complaints, document work and complete service requests and inspections from the field. SDL’s platforms are all interconnected, meaning any information entered into SDL Mobile will automatically sync back to the borough’s office staff. 

With SDL’s citizen platforms, Monmouth Beach will also be able to provide convenient online access to information and services. Departments will have full control over which features they enable for the public, but options include permit/property searches, complaints, permit applications, inspection requests, zoning applications and more. The borough can also use SDL’s digital form builder to offer even more services online. 

The borough joins 22 other Monmouth County clients and over 230 municipalities state-wide who have used SDL’s municipal management software. We look forward to having them on board!

Egg Harbor Township Selects Spatial Data Logic

SOMERSET, NJ - January 26, 2022 - Spatial Data Logic welcomes Egg Harbor Township as our newest software client. Located in Atlantic County, Egg Harbor Township joins over 230 municipalities throughout the state of New Jersey, who have implemented SDL’s software to modernize processes and move services online.

Egg Harbor Township’s Building and Land Use departments will be implementing SDL’s software to streamline processes such as planning & zoning applications, permitting, inspections, and plan reviews. The departments are also looking forward to an interconnected solution that will make it easier to share information internally and collaborate on development projects.

With SDL Mobile, town inspectors will benefit from enhanced field capabilities including onsite access to owner information, permits, inspections, violations, planning/zoning applications and more. Additionally, inspectors will be able to view their daily schedules, get directions, send arrival notifications and document worksites from their smartphone or tablet. Any tasks or information entered into SDL Mobile will automatically sync back to Egg Harbor Township's office staff.

Egg Harbor Township is also eager to launch its citizen portal and bring its development departments online. With the SDL Portal, the township will be able to provide online access to department information and services for its 47,000+ residents including access to permit information, property history, zoning applications, building permit applications and inspections requests. Each department will have full control over which information and services are made available to the public.

Washington Township & Washington Borough Select SDL

SOMERSET, NJ - January 24, 2022 - Spatial Data Logic welcomes both Washington Township and Washington Borough of Warren County to our growing list of clients. When seeking a new building solution, the township was in need of a reliable building solution that would help their department work efficiently and move services online. Additionally, the township manages the construction process for Washington Borough and needed a software solution that would help them work seamlessly across both municipalities. 

Washington Township and Washington Borough are the latest municipalities to take advantage of Spatial Data Logic’s shared software service agreements. Recognizing the importance of shared services, SDL offers two different agreement options that provide flexibility whether a municipality is sharing department services or pooling resources with another municipality to secure more software licenses.

Spatial Data Logic’s software will make it easy for Washington Townships staff to track and manage processes for both municipalities. It will also help the building department provide better services to the residents, businesses, and professionals in both Washington Township and Washington Borough. For instance, the township can enable online permit applications, plan submissions, inspection requests and permit look-ups, which would make it easy for public users to access information and services. In doing so, Washington Townships staff can expect to see a reduction in calls and incomplete submissions, freeing up time for other important tasks.

In addition to online services, building inspectors can utilize SDL Mobile to access property information, permit applications, documents worksites and complete inspections whether they are working in Washington Township or Washington Borough. Furthermore, the township can take advantage of SDL's Online Plan Review solution to comply with the upcoming UCC permitting legislation.

The Town of Harrison Selects Spatial Data Logic

SOMERSET, NJ - January 21, 2022 - Spatial Data Logic welcomes the Town of Harrison as our newest software client. Located in Hudson County, the town selected Spatial Data Logic’s software for its Construction and Land Use departments at the end of December. 

Harrison was seeking a modern software solution that would streamline and automate its development processes for the town’s staff and surrounding community. With Spatial Data Logic’s municipal software, the town will be able to manage processes like permitting, board applications, meeting outcomes, plan reviews and inspections. Harrison’s inspectors will also have access to SDL Mobile, which will make it easier to access information and complete tasks in the field. Accessible by smartphone or tablet, SDL Mobile will help town inspectors access their daily schedules, send arrival notifications, manage complaints, lookup statutes, search for property information, access zoning/permit applications and complete inspections. 

The Town of Harrison is also looking forward to providing online access to information and services. With SDL’s Citizen platforms, the town will be able to enable features such as property/permit searches, permit applications, inspections requests and complaints. Additionally, public users will be able to log in at any point to check the status of their requests online which will reduce call volume.

Harrison joins 8 other Hudson County towns and over 230 municipalities statewide who have used SDL’s software to streamline processes and move services online. We look forward to getting the Town of Harrison started with its new software!
